The Ladder That Led to Discovery 🪜
With no way to descend safely, the farmer built a ladder — or hagdan in Filipino — and climbed down to explore. Inside, he found a crystal-clear underground lagoon, plunging up to 20 meters deep.
Light poured in from the ceiling, bouncing off the still water and revealing the raw beauty of ヒナグダナン洞窟 — its name inspired by the very ladder he used: “Hinagdanan” means “laddered” in Filipino.
