I. INTRODUCTION

Welcome. To help us provide you with excellent services, and avoid any misunderstanding, we ask that you read the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) below carefully. The said Terms represent a legally binding contract between IDDO, INC., doing business under the name and style of ILINK.PH and TRIPHAPPY.PH (“Iddo, Inc.”), and the Clients who avail of the agency’s services. By reserving and booking a tour or other travel product or service, you agree to the Terms that apply to the product in effect at the time of your booking.

The following terms and conditions apply generally to all travel and tour products offered by Iddo, Inc. without prejudice to any specific terms and conditions which may be provided under certain products.

II. DEFINITIONS

  1. “Supplier” – refers to a hotel or other similar accommodation; to a carrier that provides carriage by land, sea or air; and tour providers;
  2. “Client” – the guest or traveler who avails of any of the travel and tour products offered by Iddo, Inc., and other services provided by the same;
  3. “Luggage” – includes all bags brought by reason of travel;
  4. “Travel and Tour Products” – the packages, products, and services offered by the travel and tour agency, Iddo, Inc., to Clients.

III. BOOKING

Generally, all travel arrangements should be booked at least 48 hours before the scheduled trip. Some arrangements may be booked at least 24 hours before the scheduled trip, depending on the product. Once Clients have confirmed and submitted their booking and personal travel details to Iddo, Inc., they will receive a confirmation. Clients who opt for manual bookings, as described further below, a pro forma invoice of their booking will be sent via e-mail.

Please note that Iddo, Inc.’s website provides for two kinds of booking, and settlement of payment may vary, depending on the booking chosen.

Products with automated bookings in place will require full payment for the booking to go through. Upon making the booking online, the Client will be directed to a payment portal. Tickets or the travel voucher will be generated automatically after payment has been made.

For manual bookings, the settlement of payment will depend on the product and that specific product’s terms. A full prepayment might be required, and in other cases only 50% downpayment will be required. The travel voucher will be emailed to the Client once full payment has been received.

The Client will receive the following travel documents: e-tickets, vouchers, and itinerary via email. The Client is further advised to print out these documents or prepare digital copies, as these will need to be shown for all services during their visit to the preferred destination. Should our travel partner be unable to obtain confirmation for accommodation or transportation, an alternative will be offered. If the Client does not accept the alternative, the Client is entitled to cancel with a full refund of the deposit. Iddo, Inc. reserves the right to cancel bookings when services are not available.

Booking services with Iddo, Inc. is available only to persons aged 18 years and older, and to Clients who have the right, authority, and capacity to transact business and can agree to abide by these Terms. If the Client is using the agency’s services on behalf of another organization or entity, then they agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of that organization or entity, and they represent and warrant that they have the authority to bind the organization or entity to this Agreement. By submitting a booking, the Client warrants and confirms to Iddo, Inc. that they will comply with these Terms. This Agreement is published in compliance with, and is governed by the provisions of Philippine law.

IV. TERMS OF PAYMENT

Availing of Travel and Tour Products offered by Iddo, Inc. may require different methods of settling payments, as mentioned in the section on Bookings. Clients are advised to read the specific product page’s terms.

The agency accepts payment through online credit card payment, online bank transfer, and GCash, subject to the terms and conditions of the concerned companies. Details will be provided upon request.

All prices quoted on the agency’s website are in Philippine Pesos (PHP), and are per person, unless otherwise specified. All payments are to be paid in Philippine Pesos. Iddo, Inc. is not responsible for any changes in currency exchange rates that might occur from the time of booking until a refund is made.

Bookings are only confirmed upon the receipt of payment from the Client.

V. VALIDITY OF PRICES

All rates quoted or shown in the agency’s website are based on current prices. Iddo, Inc. reserves the right to alter or change previously published prices on the website without notice in the event of currency fluctuation, new government taxes, or any such cost increases that is beyond the agency’s control.

Iddo, Inc. reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or departure times without prior notice should this be necessary due to weather or other reasons beyond the agency’s control. Please note that in the case of changes of flights, the passenger is responsible for any additional costs that become payable as a result of such changes. Prices are guaranteed against any surcharge after an invoice has been issued, unless the increase is due to government laws or currency changes and amounts to 5% of the package price or more. The amounts that exceed 5% will be charged, and Clients will be entitled to cancel their booking with a full refund if the surcharge exceeds 10%. Any increase due to changes in laws, i.e. tax changes will be added to the invoice.

VI. TRAVELLING WITH CHILDREN

Clients travelling with young children (from 2 years old to 12 years old) are advised that child seats are not provided. Please see the issued travel voucher for details. Free accommodation for children is generally based on sharing existing beds in the room. If the Client requires a separate bed, they must advise Iddo, Inc. at the time of booking, as there is a corresponding charge to be added to their booking.

VII. TRAVELLING WITH SENIOR CITIZENS

Clients travelling with senior citizens (60 years old above) must inform Iddo, Inc. of such fact, particularly when the travelling senior citizens require special assistance, be it in the form of mobility aids or accommodation suited for their needs. Clients are advised that there may be additional charges added to their booking by reason of the special assistance required.

VIII. PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES

Iddo, Inc. makes every reasonable effort to accommodate all passengers’ needs; however, the agency does not provide either wheelchairs or other disability equipment at present. Clients with disabilities are advised to provide their own wheelchairs or disability equipment as needed. The agency assumes no responsibility for any injury or any inconvenience in this regard. For Clients with disabilities, the agency cannot guarantee hotel rooms equipped with disability access when booking overnight trips with hotel accommodation included. However, the agency undertakes to do its best to try to reserve the appropriate room, if available.

Passengers with disabilities and/or any other health issues must advise and inform Iddo, Inc. by email at the time of making the reservation. The agency reserves the right to decline a booking should it be determined that it is unable to properly accommodate or meet its obligations towards that passenger/s and or safety considerations.

IX. SPECIAL REQUESTS

For any special requests, please inform the agency in writing during or after the booking is made. Iddo, Inc. is happy to pass on your special requests to the hotel, airline or other Supplier. However, the agency cannot guarantee accommodation of any special request. Provided that the agency is given timely and reasonable notice to process these requests, Iddo, Inc. undertakes to do its best. Unless and until specifically confirmed, all special requests are subject to availability.

X. LOCAL PURCHASES

Iddo, Inc. will not accept responsibility for any items that the Client may purchase locally such as jewelry, food, souvenir items, etc., and the quality and value of such cannot be guaranteed. The agency recommends that the Client check whether or not any extra charges will be payable for import duty or freight, and it is unable to assist with any costs that the Client may incur in this respect.

XI. CANCELLATION TERMS/REFUND

Clients are advised to check and read carefully the terms for cancellation for each product, which may be found at the bottom of the page on the website.

If the Client’s Travel and Tour Package includes international or domestic air tickets, cancellation of airline ticket will be based on its cancellation policy, based on their fare rules. Iddo, Inc. only acts as an agent for the airlines and is not responsible if the said airline cancels, reschedules, or delays a flight for any reason.

In any case, Iddo, Inc. will extend necessary assistance to address concerns of guests and to safeguard their welfare, but the airline company will be responsible for the final decision on such requests. Additional and incidental expenses incurred due to delay, suspension, accidents and local conditions must be borne by the guest.

XII. FORCE MAJEURE

Please take note that Iddo, Inc. is not responsible for changes which arise as a result of circumstances beyond the agency’s control, such as technical or maintenance problems with transportation, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline, or main charter company, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, bad weather or terrorist activity and its consequences, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, epidemics and pandemics.

XIII. DOCUMENTATION

Where travel and health documents are mandatory to comply with the requirements of the Philippine Islands that the Client may wish to visit, it is understood that it is the Client’s responsibility to procure the abovementioned documentation. If failure to obtain any such documents results in fines, surcharges or any other financial penalty being imposed on Iddo, Inc., the agency is entitled to reimbursement from the erring Client.

XIV. CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE AND ACCOMMODATIONS

Iddo, Inc. is neither a common carrier nor an entity that provides accommodation. Each journey by land, sea or air that the Client booked is governed by the conditions of the carrier undertaking to provide that carriage. Some of these conditions may limit or exclude liability, and are sometimes the subject of international agreements. Copies of the applicable agreements are available for inspection at the offices of the carrier concerned. It is the Client’s responsibility to re-confirm the onward or return sectors of any air journey with the carrier concerned and according to such carrier’s terms and conditions and respective regulations.

Clients should be guided by hotel policies of their accommodation. Damage and loss of hotel key cards, bed sheets, and towels, and consumption of food and drinks in the mini-fridge bar and other incidental expenses are not included in the Travel and Tour Products offered by Iddo, Inc., and thus, are charged to the Client.

XV. TOUR GUIDES

Clients must note that Tour Guides and Tour Facilitators are not their personal servants. Tour Guides and Tour Facilitators are there to guide Clients in English, provide assistance, and give information on culture and history when relevant. As such, Clients should not expect that the assistance of Tour Guides pertains to assisting the former with their personal needs. Carrying of luggage is the responsibility of the Client.

Clients are further reminded to always treat the Tour Guides and Tour Facilitators with respect and decency. If there is any cause for complaint, Clients must approach the agency first, and inform them accordingly of their grievance/s. Clients are advised to refrain from reprimanding Tour Guides and Tour Facilitators in a rude and unreasonable manner. Filming, recording, and taking photos of any kind of these circumstances are strongly discouraged.

XVI. INSURANCE

Travel Insurance may be availed of with Iddo, Inc.’s accredited partner, Pacific Cross. Please note that the said insurance applies only to trips that originate from and end in the Philippines. This service does not apply to trips originating from and ending in another country.

Clients are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure to meet any contingencies that would cover against cancellation charges, unexpected curtailment of Client’s vacation, medical expenses, loss or damage to luggage, and personal liability claims against the Client.

Should Clients fail to secure such Travel Insurance coverage prior to their travel, then they accept full responsibility for themselves, and all of the members of their party, and indemnify Iddo, Inc. and their Philippine travel agents and representatives for any and all costs that may arise, which would otherwise have been met, had such travel insurance been in force.

XVII. COMPLAINTS

If, for any reason, Clients are not satisfied with the Travel and Tour Products they have availed of with Iddo, Inc., the agency would like to hear about their experiences. The agency recommends that Clients contact them as soon as any incident occurs. All complaints must reach Iddo, Inc. within 10 days after Client’s departure. Failure to do so might invalidate any possible entitlement to compensation.

If any problem arises during the Client’s trip, please contact Iddo, Inc. immediately so that proper assistance can be provided. All notices and communications shall be in writing, in English, and shall be deemed submitted if delivered personally or by courier service, or sent via email with due acknowledgement of receipt of transmission. Reviews posted on any travel website and communications through social media are not deemed submitted complaints.

XVIII. LIABILITY

Once the Client books through Iddo, Inc., they agree to be legally bound by the following terms and conditions. Iddo, Inc. acts in good faith, acting solely as an intermediary and an agent for Suppliers (Air and Sea Carriage, Hotel accommodation, Ground transportation, Tours, Meals, Cruises, Travel Insurance, etc.) and as such, it is not liable for breach of contract or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of the Suppliers, which may result in any loss, damage, delay, injury, death, sickness, or accident sustained by the Client and their travel companions in the course of availing the indicated services.

The agency likewise shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, schedule changes caused by weather or road conditions, force majeure such as natural disasters, strikes, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other irregularities, actions, omissions, or conditions outside the agency’s reasonable control.

By embarking upon this travel, Clients voluntarily assume all risks involved with such travel, whether expected or unexpected. Luggage is at the owner’s risk throughout the tour. The fees for the use of porters are shouldered by the Clients. All information on the Iddo, Inc. website is subject to change, and the agency reserves the right to correct any mistakes that may appear on its website. These general booking conditions are subject to change, and the agency reserves the right to update these conditions without notice.

Iddo, Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to anybody. Every passenger on board the vehicle must respect the tour guide and the time frame in which a tour is scheduled to occur when stopping for photos, breaks, hiking, walking or visiting a site of interest. The agency is not responsible for any delays caused by the Client or individual who does not comply with the time limit a tour guide recommends for each stop or site. Please note that overtime fees may apply if applicable. Iddo, Inc. reserves the right to remove any passenger who causes a disturbance to any individual in the vehicle, including the tour guide/driver, or poses a threat to an otherwise smooth and safe trip.

Some tours may include physical activities like hiking, walking, kayaking, riding an ATV (all-terrain vehicles), rafting, riding in vehicles, which involves risks. Iddo, Inc. does not assume any responsibility for any injuries, accidents or health issues that might be a result from these physical activities. All Clients are responsible for evaluating the potential risks of participating in any of the tours that may involve physical activity. Clients are advised to inform Iddo, Inc. of any existing health issues prior to making their reservation.

Flight cancellations, and delays of airlines are beyond the agency’s reasonable control, hence, it accepts no responsibility over these circumstances. In the event of any delay or suspension, it is the responsibility of the Airline Company to take the requisite remedial action to address the same and its consequences.

Notwithstanding the terms above, Iddo, Inc. will extend the necessary assistance to address Client concerns and to safeguard their welfare, but the Airline Company will be responsible for the final decision on such requests. Additional and incidental expenses incurred due to delay, suspension, accidents, and local conditions must be borne by the guest.

Clients are reminded that it is their responsibility to arrange proper exit/re-entry documents, validity of passports, and visa for the country(ies) to visit. Given the possibility of changes to the timetables, rerouting, programs, and tour prices, the same shall be subject to confirmation.

Unused tour services are non-refundable. Whether the Client avails of the day tours or not, they will be subject to the imposed fees as embodied in the travel agreement. All confirmed bookings are already considered as guaranteed bookings, and as such, are considered non-refundable.

Clients’ retention of tickets, reservations, tour/hotel vouchers and other travel documents after issuance shall constitute consent to all of the above, and an agreement on their part to convey the same to their travel companions.

XIX. GOVERNING LAW

Any contract or dispute between the parties and concerning these Terms and Conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with Philippine law.

XX. ARBITRATION

Any dispute, controversy, difference or claim arising out of or relating to the Terms and Conditions, including the validity, interpretation, performance, breach or termination thereof or any dispute regarding non-contractual obligations arising out of or relating to it shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the courts of Cebu City when the Notice of Arbitration is submitted.

XXI. AMENDMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The effective date of this policy is on December 10, 2024. It replaces all prior policies issued by Iddo, Inc. The agency reserves the right to change its policy at any time. Visitors to this Travel and Tour website should review the policies from time to time to stay abreast of changes.

XXII. MISCELLANEOUS

Iddo, Inc. retains its right to exercise or enforce any right contained in the Terms and Conditions. In the event that the agency fails to take action, it shall not be deemed as a waiver of its right or prevent it from taking subsequent action in respect of that right or of any other right.

In the event of any provision of the Terms and Conditions being found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the invalidity or unenforceability of such provision shall not affect the other provisions of the Terms and Conditions. All provisions not affected by such invalidity or unenforceability shall remain in full force and effect.
