Choose from 3D2N to 6D5N private North Vietnam itineraries. Below is our most complete 6D5N sample itinerary, followed by shorter options that can be customized based on your schedule, budget, and preferred hotel category.
Best for travelers who want the most complete North Vietnam experience — combining Hanoi city highlights, Sapa mountain scenery, Fansipan Peak, Cat Cat Village, and an overnight Halong Bay cruise.
Arrive in Hanoi and meet the local representative at the airport. Start with a Hanoi city tour featuring the Ho Chi Minh Complex, One Pillar Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Hanoi Old Quarter, Train Street, and other key city highlights. Hotel check-in is from 2:00 PM.
Travel by road to Sapa. After lunch, visit Cat Cat–Shin Chai Village, a scenic Hmong village known for local culture, traditional crafts, mountain views, Cat Cat waterfall, and a walking village experience.
Visit Fansipan, the highest mountain in Vietnam and Indochina. Ride the included roundtrip cable car and enjoy panoramic mountain views, weather permitting. After lunch, return to Hanoi for overnight stay.
Travel to Halong Bay and board the cruise from Tuan Chau International Port. Enjoy lunch onboard while cruising through the bay, visit a cave, go kayaking, relax on the sundeck, join a cooking activity, and stay overnight on the cruise.
Enjoy breakfast onboard and relax as the cruise returns to port. Light lunch is served before disembarkation, followed by transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
