What is a joiner tour?

A joiner tour means you will share the boat with other guests. It is a more affordable option than chartering a private boat.

Where does the tour start?

The tour starts at the designated jump-off point / port in Punta Engaño, Mactan. The exact meeting location, time, and instructions will be indicated in your Tour Voucher after booking.

What time does the Mactan Cebu Island Hopping tour start and end?

Hotel pick-up is from 7:30 – 8AM depending on hotel location, with boat departure at approximately 9:00 AM. The boat normally returns to the port at around 1:30 PM with 30 minutes to one hour travel back to your hotel.

Do I need to know how to swim?

No. Swimming is not required to join the tour. Guests who do not know how to swim can join the snorkeling activity with crew assistance, holding onto a life ring while the crew tows them along. Please follow the crew’s safety instructions.

Is the itinerary guaranteed?

The itinerary may change depending on weather, sea conditions, tides, local regulations, and operational requirements.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing swimwear, sun protection, a change of clothes, dry bag or waterproof protection for your phone or valuables.

What happens if the weather is bad?

For safety reasons, the tour may be adjusted, postponed, or cancelled due to unsuitable weather or sea conditions, including force majeure events. In some cases, cancellation may only be confirmed on the morning of the tour, and guests may be notified on or before 7:00 AM. Any changes will depend on the operator’s assessment and local conditions.
