Do I need to know how to swim?

No. Guests who do not wish to swim or snorkel may simply relax on the boat or enjoy the island stops. Those entering the water should follow the guide and boat crew’s safety instructions.

Is snorkeling equipment included?

Is the Caohagan sandbar always visible?

The wide sandbar is most visible during low tide and may be partially or fully covered at other times. Even when the sandbar is not exposed, Caohagan still has a nice stretch of white-sand beach where guests can swim and relax.

Is there a place to change clothes before and after the tour?

Yes. There is a toilet area at the dock where guests may change clothes, but there is no shower facility. The toilet facilities are basic and may not be up to the standard of hotel or commercial facilities, so we recommend managing expectations and bringing your own toilet paper if needed.
For convenience, we highly recommend changing into your swimwear before hotel pick-up, so you can proceed directly to the boat upon arrival at the dock.
