Sumilon Bluewater Resort is a sister resort of Maribago Bluewater Resort in Mactan Cebu. Sumilon is a beautiful secluded island located just off the south-eastern tip of mainland Cebu with white sand beaches, a lagoon, a hiking trail with sweeping panoramic views, a lighthouse, historical watchtower (baluarte), cave and other resort facilities including infinity pools that overlook the island of Cebu.

One Bedroom Villa – PhP 22,000 nett good for two with breakfast and dinner
Two Bedroom Villa – PhP 38,500 nett good for four with breakfast and dinner

Peak Season dates: Holy Week: 17-20 April 2025; Obon Period 13-17 August 2025; Chuseok 03-07 October 2025, Christmas / New Year 20 December 2025 – 05 January 2026; Chinese New Year

Extra person: Php 5,000 nett per night per person with breakfast.

Child Policy: Children below 11 years of age & below sharing room with parents are free of charge excluding meals

Check-in time is 3:00 pm and Check-out time is 11:00am. Early check-in and late checkout are subject to availability and are subject to additional room charge.

A surcharge of PHP 2,000.00 net per night on Christmas & New Year: December 20, 2024 – January 5, 2025 ; Chinese New Year: January 28,2025 – February 3, 2025; Holy Week- April 17-20, 2025

Sumilon Bluewater has a new exciting experience to offer. Glamping, spend the night under the stars inside a luxurious tent with hotel style amenities.

Open from March 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025

Rate per night: PhP 14,000 nett good for two persons.

Extra Person: PhP 5,000.00 nett per night. PhP 2,500.00 nett extra person charge per night for children ages 6 to 11 years old. (Maximum 1 extra person per tent)

*One Child ages 5 years old and below per tent may share existing accommodation, free of charge.

*The tents can accommodate maximum of 3 persons (adult and/or child).

If you do not wish to stay overnight at Sumilon, a day tour from Cebu City is possible. Be sure to go early to be able to enjoy the island’s different activities.

Things to Know

Sumilon Bluewater Resort is a three hour drive from Cebu City to Bancogon pier in Oslob town and from there, a 10-15 minute boat ride to the island. The boat ride is provided by the resort. A parking and waiting area is available at the Bancogon pier.

The drive to Oslob town is along the scenic south coastal road. From Cebu City, you will pass through the cities/towns of Talisay, Minglanilla, Naga, San Fernando, Carcar, Sibonga, Argao, Dalaguete, Alcoy and Boljoon before reaching Oslob at the southern tip of Cebu Island.

There are Ceres buses plying the southern route which can take you to Bancogon pier (Oslob). Private transfers may also be arranged (rates below).
